We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.

对于绝大多数同学来说，英语始终是心头大患。我与大家经历相同，从4年级便被扣上了这顶帽子，每一次考试，英语总是给我拖后腿，但在一次次摸索中，我也在不断进步，总结了一些经验。正所谓“方向不对，努力白费”，正确的学习方法会使我们的学习效率大大提高，从而达到事半功倍的目的。下面是我总结的一些学习英语的经验，希望可以供同学们参考。

第三，要利用零碎的时间。英语是一门需要长期积累的科目，知识点很多，一定要好好利用互联网、学习机和其他移动方便的设备，更不用说书籍和杂志这样的传统学习资源！你完全可以在课间、排队、午休等时间记几个单词，要养成“天天英语”的习惯，每天按老师的要求作一篇完形阅读，坚持天天听英语。其实学英语的过程更像是一朵云的形成，是水汽的一点点积累；而不像砌一面墙那样，把砖堆上去就好。

对外，我们组织同学在学校门口对过往群众进行环保宣传，少丢一片纸、多用布兜购物、不随地吐痰、废旧电池要集中等等，虽然事情很小，但是当我们大家都这样做时，就可以对环境起到良好的保护，可以减少生活垃圾对环境的危害，让北京的天更蓝，水更清。我们还建议群众不要随便践踏草坪、保护身边的绿地、爱护小动物。联系邻近的几所学校，进行环保宣传。在此次活动的同时，我们组织学生们在老师带领下定期清扫学校周围的马路。同学们在烈日下，举着扫帚，清扫路面，拾集纸片等零碎物品集中处理，虽然是6月份，但是今年的天气异常炎热，太阳直射温度达到了35度左右，没有多久，汗水就随着同学们的脖子和肩膀流淌下来，虽然牺牲了大家双休日，但是大家并没有怨言，依然积极仔细的清扫着马路。有的男生后背的衣服上都印上了汗碱。
对内，我们在各班放置一个专门用于收集废旧电池的小箱子，每周有专门人员来回收电池。在学校的走廊里，我们摆放了宣传环境保保的展板，让师生们和来校人员在课余时间观看浏览。同学们也能做到不随地丢弃垃圾，爱护校园里的花草树木。并组织同学在学校操场周围种树，形成绿化带。邀请各班同学进行“环保在我心中”主题班会，并让各班汇总，进行全校演讲，让同学们更加深入地了解环保的重要性，积极投入到日常生活中的环境保护。

我决定转移注意力，于是，我拿起一本书，读了起来。读着读着。突然屋外发生“轰隆隆”的巨响，把握吓得把手中的书一扔，然后迅速躲到墙角，双手捂住耳朵，闭上了眼睛，希望这巨响会尽快结 束。因为我本身十分胆小，加上看了很多“鬼故事”的书。终于，大约过了十几秒，巨响停了。但是很快瓢泼大雨也应声而下。发出“啪啪啪”的声音。我也在无兴趣在看书了，于是关上了所有的窗户 ，独自坐在客厅。等父母回来，我正睡在沙发上，快入睡时，一阵“嗒嗒嗒”的声音又让我警觉起来，一定是楼上的王阿姨，她每天都回来的很晚，只听见那高跟鞋的声音越来越近，让我的呼吸越来越 急促。神经紧绷着，随着“嗒嗒嗒”的声音逐渐远去，我也长长地舒了口气，就在我放心时，那声音又出现了，而且越来越近，不仅有一些“鬼故事”的情节像放电影似的在我的脑海里浮现，大概过了 五秒钟，声音停止了，停止在我家门前，让我再度紧张，我仿佛看到一个女鬼穿着高跟鞋站在我家门前，我迅速找到一个玩具枪，对着门，准备战斗。啊!门开了，走进来一个女子，我闭上了眼，扣动 了扳机，子弹迅速射了出来，“啊!我跟你拼了”我大叫着。“”小鬼孩子，干吗用枪打我。“我缓缓睁开了眼，原来是妈妈回来了。

大家最近应该都看过电视剧《因为遇见你》吧？今天我在这里说说里面的其中一个情节，女主角张果果，他有很多想要的东西。首先，她想要学习刺绣，于是她找到宋秀华，，拜师学艺。可是没有学多长时间，她就被张雨欣发现了。张雨欣让张母百般阻挠张果果学习刺绣。可张果果没有放弃过。她时常在晚上偷偷的跑去宋秀华家学习刺绣，还参加了旗袍的甄选比赛。虽然最后她的作品没有获奖。但是她受到了吴丽莎的赏识，这也回应了她坚持梦想的心。
后来张雨欣公开挑战果果，果果想要保护金缕阁，于是她积极应战。只可惜果果没有富山春居图，所以第一局她只好认输；但在后两局中，果果用自己高超的刺绣技术和对刺绣的深度了解，赢得了比赛。
张果果的成功在于她坚持了自己想要的，她没有让她想要的成为一场空梦。身为中学生的我们，肯定有许多自己想要的，比如：成绩进步或是超越某个学生等，这些我们想要的究竟是我们的梦想还是一场空梦？如果是我们的梦想，那不管有多少困难，我们都要坚持，尽管最后的结果可能并不如我们所愿，但至少我们努力了，拼搏了。同学们，请让我们用坚持和付出雕琢我们每一段拼搏的时光吧！

今天国旗下讲话 的主题是《消除贫困 人人参与》
我曾从网上看到过这样一件事：广州某某区荔园小学的同学们邀请某某省和某某某某县贫困山区的27名小学生到他们家里做客，一起欢度国庆假期。
贫困小学生吃不惯家长们精心准备的美味，每天最想吃的还是面条、白馒头和野菜。据了解，住在高咏思家的丁肖霞晚上不愿意吃饭，她告诉高咏思："今天我已经吃了两次饭了，怎么还要吃啊？"原来，她在家乡每天只能吃一顿饭。
看了这则报道，我感到内心十分沉重。一日三餐，是人类平衡汲取能量与营养的科学进食方式，是人类自古以来共同的传统与习惯。然而，丁肖霞及其家乡的人们每天只能吃一顿饭，这并非愚昧无知所致，而是贫穷落后逼迫。丁肖霞疑惑一日三餐，并非丁肖霞和她家乡人的耻辱，而是我们这个社会的耻辱！
当然，贫困不光是我国必须面临的问题，也是一个国际性问题。全世界有近四分之一的人口生活在贫困状态。每年约有20xx万人饿死，每天约有4万儿童因食品匮乏和得不到治疗而死亡。世界五分之一的儿童受教育不足5年。目前世界仅阿富汗就约有300万人正在承受饥饿的煎熬，2500万总人口约75%生活在贫困线以下，每四名儿童就有一人不满5岁夭折。
也就因为全球面临的这个贫困的问题，1992年12月22日，第47届联合国大会把每年的10月17日确定为世界扶贫日，旨在引起国际社会对贫困问题的重视，宣传和促进全世界消除贫困的工作，动员各国采取具体的扶贫行动。
"安得广厦千万间，大庇天下寒士俱欢颜"、"但愿苍生俱饱暖"，这是多少仁人志士的美好愿望。中国从1978年改革开放之初到20xx年启动了为期25年的"扶贫攻坚战"。将农村没有解决温饱问题的人口从2.5亿减少到了2900万，取得了举世瞩目的成就。 近年来，社会力量参与扶贫的影响力也越来越大，涉及的扶贫项目包括帮助救助失学儿童的"希望工程"、私营企业家支持贫困地区发展的"光彩事业"、帮助残疾人的"康复扶贫"、扶助贫困母亲的"幸福工程"、资助女童完成义务教育的"春蕾计划"等等。两年来，中国扶贫基金会组织的扶贫中国行硕果累累，那英走进某某左权；杨利伟捐赠太空光盘；姚明捐赠签名篮球；刘翔捐赠签名运动服；宁静、杨童舒走进某某母婴项目区… …20xx年募集资金和物资1。8亿，受益人口为49.33万人，20xx年募集资金和物资达2.4亿，受益人口为53.3万人。
更可贵的是有些人，虽然自己并不富裕，但也尽力为扶贫事业做一份贡献。例如来自新疆的22岁大学生王保磊，家境贫寒却靠课余打工和省吃俭用的钱，长期默默资助素昧平生的某某贫困小学生谢兆英。
